Invest in Desert AIDS Project Mission A planned gift is an investment in the mission of Desert AIDS Project. Investing in Desert AIDS Project means assuring that the programs and services provided to our clients will continue long after your gift comes to fruition. It means that your gift will help us to meet the evolving needs of our client base tomorrow and far into the future.
What Is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is the practice of planning a charitable gift in the context of your current financial plan, retirement plan, or estate plan. This website is designed to provide valuable information about the many planned giving options available to Desert AIDS Project supporters and friends. We believe that the best planned gift is the one that is best for you and your loved ones. Our goal at D.A.P. is to assist you in making the gift that is most meaningful to you.
More and more donors at all income levels are discovering that supporting D.A.P. with a planned gift can bring personal rewards and enable them to make a larger gift to D.A.P. than would have been possible otherwise. There is a unique story behind each planned gift. These donors' stories illustrate how D.A.P. can help you plan your financial future while at the same time supporting the programs and services of Desert AIDS Project.
We rely on your generous donations because ...
AIDS is not over
Take a moment to consider:
- Every 13 minutes, someone in the United States is infected with HIV.
- More than 250,000 people don't know they are infected.
- More than half of the more than one million people living with HIV/AIDS are not in medical care.
- Stigma and discrimination in some cultural and racial groups keep many from getting tested or seeking care.
